Our team are trained in trichology, specialising in the science of analysing both the hair and scalp in order to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. Diseases and disorders such as hair loss, hair thinning, psoriasis and many other hair and scalp concerns are treated via an in-depth and holistic analysis.
The skin is the largest organ of the body and can be compromised by environmental and lifestyle elements such as air conditioning, seasonal changes, sun exposure, poor diet, illness, medication, ageing, fatigue and stress. A medical history of skin disease or sensitivity/allergies can also present as a concern on the scalp and, in turn, the hair growth cycle. Furthermore, poor hygiene and/or inappropriate product application can lead to the development of harmful bacteria, infection or fungal disease.
Our Trichology Program enables our team to work hand in hand with their clients over a 12 week period to ensure both longevity and success with their recommended treatment program. The program consists of:
· A 1 hour comprehensive and holistic consultation with the client.
· 105 x magnification digital imaging of the hair and scalp with the Firefly Dermascope.
· pH testing of the scalp.
· Hydration measurement of the scalp.
· A detail prescription will be drawn up for the product regime recommended to treat the individual needs of the client. This will include a detailed instructions for the use of each product and a calendar to follow for application requirements.
· Follow up consults including additional imaging and prescription modification to suit will be included at the 3, 6, 9 and 12 week marks throughout the program.*
· An in-salon treatment and blow dry is included in the program to be used at a time that the our team recommends to aid the desired results of the overall treatment. In the event that this additional treatment is not needed throughout the program, a voucher for an in-salon treatment and blow dry will be provided for the client to use at their leisure.**
· Finally, the package will include the cost of your first shampoo in the prescription recommendation. All other products recommended throughout the program will need to be purchased by the client.
The total cost of the 12 week program is $660. Clients are able to sign up for a weekly payment option of $55 through Salon Pay or can pay upfront at the beginning of the program.
*Follow up consults and imaging are inclusive within the program and not refundable should the client be unable to attend. An alternative phone of video conference follow up can be arranged if needed.
**In the event that the in-salon treatment and blow dry is not used and rather issued as a voucher, the voucher will be representative of these services and is not redeemable on other products, services or as a refund.
